Motorcycle Insurance

Motorcycle liability insurance is required by state law and protects your pockets when you’re responsible for someone else’s injuries and damages to his/her vehicle. This responsibility means that your insurance will pay for another driver’s damaged vehicle and any medical bills, if applicable.

Comprehensive coverage – This means any event that is beyond your control such as vehicle fire, theft, glass breakage, etc., is covered after a deductible is applied.

What is a deductible? We’re glad you asked! This is the amount of money you agree to pay out of pocket before your insurer pays the rest.

Collision coverage – This pays to repair or replace your damaged vehicle, regardless of fault. There’s also a deductible with this one- FYI. If you need a rental car while yours is in the shop, this will also pay for that.

Uninsured/underinsured bodily injury – This pays for injuries sustained by you and your passengers (depending on your policy limits) if you are injured in an accident and that driver has little to no insurance.

Uninsured/underinsured motorist – This pays to repair or replace your vehicle (up to your policy limits) if you’re hit by another driver with not enough insurance or none at all.

Medical payments – This pays for medical and funeral expenses (up to your limits) if you’re involved in an accident. Medical payments can also cover your family members or other passengers, regardless of fault.

Carried contents – This covers your personal belongings that are carried on your bike if they’re damaged, stolen, or lost. This can include phones, camping equipment, and hunting gear.

Custom parts – We understand that no two bikes are the same. Accessories and custom parts/equipment can make your bike one-of-a-kind, which is why we automatically include $3,000 in accessory coverage if you have comprehensive and collision insurance on your policy. No worries if $3,000 isn’t enough – you can purchase up to $30,000 in coverage.
